I have a confession.

No, I haven't peed on anything lately so it is not that. ;)

I would like a smash cake for my next birthday- it just looks fun.

And I want a bunch of people lining up to take pics of me- one of whom will be using my new camera. 

You see, I was the 5th kid and I was lucky if I even got a "happy birthday!"

I am totally kidding by the way.  Kinda.

    I know, right?  I was the oldest, but after my siblings came along, my birthday became less and less important.  I remember one year when DH and I were dating (I was turning 17), my mom didn't even make/buy a cake for my birthday because she and my dad were fighting and she was pouting.  My DH told his mom, though, and my MIL bought me a cake and made a big deal out of it, having everyone sing happy birthday to me and surprising me with gifts.  One of the many reasons I really love that lady, even though she drives me bonkers sometimes.  :)

    Sometimes we need a big fuss made out of us.
