I think if she sits for a movie at home, it is worth a shot. If she wants to get up you can always take her to the lobby for a bit.
And take this with a grain of salt because I have never seen the movie (or know anything about it) but I did see a few posts on Facebook that movie scared their kids. (I dont know why since I have no idea what the movie is about).
Ava did ok this fall at one. I brought her blankie and paci just in case, b/c I didn't want to pay for us, and get my beloved poppie corn with "butter" and then have her want to leave. Can't say she LOVED it, but I hear that movie is a good one to try.
There are Mom's Mornings are some AMC theaters, etc. where the lights stay up and the kids make noise, etc. I keep meaning to try that out.

We are taking the boys to Cars 2 this summer. I totally plan on letting them pick a treat and bringing pacies and blankets. The boys will be about 30 months.
I dont think DS will be ready for this for quite a while and I cant imagine spending the money before then since he wouldnt really get much out of it. But if you think she'll sit through it and enjoy it then a kids morning movie is probably your best bet. Good luck!
I definitely think she will do great If she sits through them at home, she will love the movie theater This was our cue that DS1 was ready!
We have taken him to see Toy Story 3, Misty Island Rescue and most recently, Tangled. We LOVED Tangled. I don't know anyone's kids who were scared by it. I cannot wait to buy it when it comes out on DVD
I say go for it. The worst that happens is that you have to leave.
Re: toddlers and movies??

I havent been yet, but I think the shows are much cheaper and include snacks and stuff. And the movies are shorter than a typical film.
