It's as if Ella knew I was dreading being home with her tonight (how awful is that?). She was as close to a perfect angel as she's been in weeks.
::le sigh::
She even said "sleep?" and then pointed to her bed when we were reading her bedtime book. Happy child who wants to go to bed? Yes please.
ETA: see? Here are smiley silly pictures to prove it:

Oh I couldn't care less. I know tomorrow can be another complete 180, but I needed a break tonight.
aw
maybe she felt bad after her episode in the morning!
how cute - and her jammies are way cute too!
I am always amazed as well. Stella knows exactly what "night night" means. She takes off running to the stairs to go to bed when we say it in the evening.
My brother has to sit with his son for 1-2 hours in bed before he'll go to sleep (yes, he & my SIL's fault fault and they choose to deal with it), I couldn't imagine doing that!
Clark will do the same...when is ready for bed he will come to me and basically in his own way will let me know he is tired (rubbing eyes, etc.) and as soon as I say time to go night night...he runs to the stairs (with a gate on it) and will bang on the gate until we go up there. Ive never seen a kid so happy to go to bed but then again I just feel like we trained him so well that we really should be surprised by it. I love it that we have a good sleeper now after the first 3 months of hell!
She is adorable and so are those jammies!!
