What are your V-day plans?

i was thinking of doing the 14 days of love thing that I found on Lovingyou.com. I have never done something like that before and thought it would be special. Our love life has been pathetic since having our twins!

What are your plans or what are you getting your DH?

We will hopefully have a new baby! So nothing romantic for us. Maybe some takeout if I'm lucky! I already bought cards just in case I cant get out as it gets closer.

We always order a heart shaped pizza and stay in and watch a movie. We don't do gift for V-Day.

Well the Saturday before we have a Mardi Gras Ball to go to for Dh. My mom is watching the twins and we will sleep at her house after. That will kind of be like our night out...so on Valentine's day I told DH I would cook dinner. I figured once the babies go to bed at 7 we can have a Vday date night...only at home:) Not sure what I am cooking yet, but I was thinking maybe grilled fish or steak w/ crabmeat on top and not sure what else! I'm interested in the 14 days of love...going to check that out!

I'm giving DH a son:) We have never really exchanged Valentine's gifts. DH sometimes sends me flowers or buys me a small gift but if he forgets I don't care. In the past I've bought chocolate covered strawberries and cooked a nice dinner for him. This year my goal is to bake cupcakes with dd. We'll see how that turns out with a newborn that's less than a week old.

We'll get cupcakes from our favorite bakery, but we've never done gifts or really celebrated V-day. DH's birthday is the week before and mine is the week after.
