I'm tired of the whole metroplex being taken over by ESPN and beer companies and the like.  Stupid macho sport dominating the local news and causing a bunch of traffic.

    That must blow.  I lived in Orlando when the Superbowl was in Jacksonville, like 100 miles away, and it was still a shiit show.

    This. My mom lives in North Arlington and she is DS's daily babysitter. I am going to hate life dropping him off/picking him up next week. And I'm a teacher, so I am dying to hear the lame-o excuses why kids were late/didn't come to school when I will drive over an hour to be there.

    Boo the traffic for sure!  They say there are 100,000+ people coming to tovvn for the game and 300,000+ coming total.  Seriously??  That many people are coming that aren't even going to the game?  Dumb.

    Ohhh that sucks.  I live further north and work in Irving, so it won't be as bad as your commute.

    I think they shut down all of New Orleans last year for about a week before the game.  We also love that sh!t! (unfortunately, due to being 38 weeks along at the time last year, I missed it!  My doc laughed at me when I told him if it were 2 weeks earlier, i'd have driven then 8 hours just to be back home for it!)

    Yeah, I didn't think about it when we were planning, but I realized it soon after. I'm sure the traffic into DFW is going to be horrendous. Don't be surprised if I'm 2 hours late. Lol.
