What is the average follicle size at LH surge/ovulation?

Yesterday i went in for an u/s and my lead follicle was around 18mm.  I got a negative OPK last night and a negative this morning (Im testing twice a day to make sure I catch my LH surge).  Im wondering what the follicle size normally is at the LH surge or right before ovulation?  I would assume i will get a pos OPK tonight or tomorrow as I believe the follicle is growing about 2mm a day since it was 14mm on Monday and then the 18mm on Wed.  I also can sense the O is coming due to CM increase (sorry if TMI)

I am doing a natural FET by the way and am nervous about not catching the surge or something going wrong.  Do OPK's gradually get darker before you got the actual positive?

    I don't know much about FET's, but I triggered last week with one follicle at 20mm, so I think you should get a positive OPK VERY soon! Are you testing in the AM and PM?

    Before I even opened your post I was thinking 18mm so you should be right on track!  GL to you girly!

    i used digital OPKs b/c i was so afraid about missing the surge- regular ones are so difficult to read.

    i forget what my follie size was when i got pg with Griffin... but with the twins, the morning after my positive OPK my follies were 21mm and 25mm.... 18mm being what my RE considers mature.
