    I'm a little confused about this post.  I think the only time I'd be worried is if my baby was always lethargic when she was awake and only awake for 30 minutes - 1 hour before needing another long nap.

    The other day, DS slept almost 18 hours in one day!  He was happy and normal when he was awake, so I wasn't too worried...I figured it might be a growth spurt since he also seemed extra hungry.  He's back to normal (14-16 hours) now.  So I guess my answer would depend on how many days in a row this was happening, and how LO was acting when they were awake.
