Hoping to do a Happy Dance in a few days.

I have never had a cycle where I had a LP that lasted past 10 days. Yesterday was day 11 and my temp dropped to my cover line and I started spotting.  So, I scheduled an appointment with my doctor to start the second round of Clomid.

My doctor told me he thinks I jumped the gun on this one. He did an ultrasound and said he thinks I am just spotting. He did not see any sign that I had started my period or that I was not pregnant. He said he cannot tell if I am pregnant or not because it is too early. The doctor doubled my promethium (progesterone) since my temperature dropped. The doctor said we should know for sure in 5 days.

 

He went to explain about how to restart the Clomid and everything else. I asked ?What if I don?t start my period?? I have been known to have irregular periods. He laughed and said take a pregnancy test. LOL He was trying to make me relax.

 

This morning my temp is back up and my bleeding stopped. I hoping this is it this time. I am really tired of seeing the BFN, along with everyone else.

    I hope you get to do a happy dance too. :) You should be aware though that Clomid does lengthen the LP. The two times I took it, my LPs went from 9-10 days to 12 and 14 days. I wasn't lucky, but hopefully you will be, good luck!

    Thank you! My doctor told me that Clomid may not lengthen my LP (he did not seen too confident that it would). The problem I am having is my progesterone is too long. He is hoping the progesterone will lengthen the LP, so far it looks like it is working. I hoping for the best, but preparing for the worse. That is why I already have another prescription of Clomid ready to go. I  wish you luck. It is no fun trying to struggle through all of this. It is a roller coaster ride.

    No Happy Dance this month. :( I feel like we are finally putting the puzzle together and figuring out what is going on. I start clomid again on Monday. Here we go again.
