update on my physical therapist (pg ment'ed)

i went to see her yesterday, and she is doing as well as can be expected. she is stuck in the hospital, though, because the baby's heart rate plummeted a couple times, though luckily they were able to get it back up with a little stimulation. ''rubbing the belly'' took on a whole new meaning, as they are trying to cook amelia as long as possible, and thats about the only thing keeping this baby in the oven. meg is holding in there, but is obviously scared.

i also found out that this will be their only child. she was a month away from a scheduled hysterectomy when she finally got pregnant. she has lost her mother, two aunts, and grandmother to ovarian cancer, and her older sister is fighting it. they all had their diagnoses's around their 35th birthday, she turns 35 in 5mo.

it must have been heartbreaking to choose between a baby and your life....

thankfully she should get both.
