Thanks!! DD was a peemie and she has an eye issue that caused torticollis (sp?). We have been doing physical therapy so the torticollis isn't very visible anymore, but she still has a lot of tension in her muscles. Also, DD was born with a flat spot and it just isn't resolving. She wasn't able to lift her head until she was + 4 months old and she wasn't sitting up on her own until she was almost 9 months old.. She has already had quite a few ear and sinus issues that our doctor thinks are made worse by her head shape.
I didn't know it was $3300 for the helmet! I need to call our insurance company and see what if anything they will cover!
They have you pay for all the treatment and helmet all at once. Every two weeks adjustments and the helemet.
Its very upsetting because you know your child needs it. We almost started treatment the day we went but i had a feeling i needed to talk to my insurance first and they said if i would have started treatment i would have waived my right to have it even reviewed or paid for.
I am not trying to scare you but i just want you to be informed.
