Waking at 5:30 gets really old....I used to wake at 5am or before for work, but now it is different of course. His alarm goes off at 5:30 and he stays in bed till 6. Oi!!!
This week DH has been going in at 5am so he's up at 3:45. Ouch! He does get right up as soon as the alarm sounds but he wakes me up when he comes back in to get showered. I'm just glad I don't have to get out of bed!
DH's alarm starts going off at 5:45 but I sleep right through it. I don't hear it at all. He has to come wake me up at 6:30 to get DS off to the bus stop.

Oh yes!!! DH goes to work anywhere between 1am-3am and every morning his alarm goes off and he doesn't wake up. I end up waking him EVERY single morning and then he hits snooze for about 3 more times at which each time I am again waking him up! This is an everyday thing and will not change. Some days I am able to go back to sleep and some I am not. It pisses me off even more when the DD's wake up because of the constant snooze then alarm snooze then alarm... GGRRR.. Major pet peeve!

yes! Try between 3:45 and 4 AM! And he snoozes at least 1x (which he picked up from me *sigh*). Between him, the neigbor's dogs, and DS's random wake ups, sleep has been scarce for me. I hate hearing an alarm when I have my own 19 month old alarm to go by...and DH never hears it so it wakes me and then I have to jump through hoops to wake him.
DH does the same thing. He hits snooze probably 3 times at least. When I worked, my alarm went off and I was up. His alarm used to wake me up and I couldn't get back to sleep, but now I apparently have learned to tune it out. Maybe just give it more time?

Our schedule is kinda changing because the baby is finally mostly sleeping 10 hours at night. But usually the kids don't wake up until 7:30 or later and DH coming in the door at 6:30am usually wakes me up. Sometimes I can go back to sleep, sometimes not.

Yes, and it used to not bother me that much, but like PP, with the baby in the room it's slightly aggrivating. Especially because the hubs will set his phone alarm and his watch alarm and half the time he gets up with the phone but forgets to turn the watch alarm off. So he ends up in the shower and I'm just falling back to sleep when the (very high pitched, hard to turn off) watch alarm goes off.
Re: Anyone else wake up really early cause of hubby's alarm?
Not anymore. I am so sleep deprived I can sleep through almost anything nowadays.
I used to wake up everyday when his alarm went off just to say goodbye.
Grrrr. my biggest annoyance with my DH.
And with co-rooming still with the baby it is just that much more annoying.
515 wake up call.
