We (or I should say, I) have moved on to injections and I started the first round last night. Two vials of Menopur Tues-Fri and then one vial sat and sun. Then b/w of estrogen levels on Sun. morning. Follie check on Monday. If I respond well, I will get the HcG trigger (or do it myself that night) and then schedule the appt for the IUI. then I will take the progesterone inserts (fun!) two days after that. Then I will wait.....
If I am do not respond by follie check up then I am not sure what they will do next. Maybe increase the dosage???
If it is successful, I COULD be PG around my 35th birthday. Whoa!
Holy smokes that is a mouthful. That is my update.
Thank you to everyone who has been there for this. It has has been a roller coaster of a ride and I am glad you are there to help through this!
Re: udpate on me-T-TTC/IF related
Exactly!!!!
thanks for the update. I know you are on one of the other boards i am on. We are traveling in a similar path since i am doing the menopur and such. I am ttc#2 though. Good luck to you and we are all here if you need to vent or talk or ask questions or whatever. best wishes to you and hope this IUI works for you!!!

I'm sending you all the dust, good thoughts, and prayers for a successful IUI!! I hope this one is it for you!!
I was hoping you'd share with us.
I am keeping my hopes high and sending you truckloads of dust to get a sticky BFP soon. Thinking of you.
That all in a strange way is good stuff. My uneducated personal thoughts on injectables is that they (at least for me) felt like such a big medical jump. But they are way better in so many ways. They are easier to control your cycle and how many folies you get...if you arent responding well enough they can increase the dosage or add in another med that can help the menopur work better. Also if you are growing too many they can slow you down.
So many good thoughts for perfectly growing follicles! With one or 2 perfect eggs waiting for some studly sperm

Thank you ladies. I appreciate all the support. When it was first suggested to move on to injections, I was scared as it was a HUGE jump. However, after giving myself the first shot, it was not that bad. Actually, DH suggested he give it to me but after I saw his hand shaking, I decided to do it.
I will keep everyone update on the progress and of course my vents too!!
Thank you ladies for all the support and the dust. I really appreciate it.
I feel all warm and fuzzy inside now :-)
