? on Baby Gap clothing sizes

I inherited a lot of clothes for DS from Baby Gap.

He is about 26.5 inches long and 17.5 pounds at 7.5 months

The sizes are 6-12 months and 12-18 months

 Does Baby Gap run true to size/big/small?

 

I am trying to figure out what might fit now versus the summer (I don't have space to keep everything out right now) so I'm trying to prioritize.

    So far i've found their stuff runs true to size - but my 7 week old is only 7 pounds, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Stick out tongue

    For me they are true to size - might be a tad larger than Carters.

    I agree with true-to-size/a little large.  My guys are definitely still in the 6-12 months size, they fit perfectly.

    I found this true too but once my kids got into Toddler sizes that went out the window! Preston is 2T shirt in carters but gap he is 4T. Pants he needs 2t or 3t for length but he has have the adjustable waist.

    I think they run just a wee bit big, but my DD was also only 4lbs 13 oz when she was born, so it may be that she just runs a bit small, lol. But I will say, in most of the reviews I read on their clothes, most people say they run big.

    The baby gap clothes he has are pretty true. He is in their 18-24 month size. However they are "bigger" than some of his Carters stuff but not so big that they fall off of him or anything.

    I had/have a smallish baby almost 14lbs with super long arms..He can still fit into some 0-3 month stuff (just put him in a GAP onsie today that was 0-3) but was super short on his arms..I have noticed this with Carter stuff too!! But the 3-6 is still big!!
