question about introducing new solids

I know to wait 3 days between introducing anything new just in case DD is allergic...but can I give her other foods that's already had an not allergic to during those 3 days?

Yesterday we started carrots. Today I can give her carrots now and bananas later, since she's had bananas already, right?

Sorry if it's a dumb question. DH has food allergies so I'm very careful with LO

Re: question about introducing new solids

  • Yes, you're right. You can give her any foods you know she is okay with. :)

  • Yep.  The 3-4 day rule is for new foods.

  • Yup! Now that Madelyn has tried almost everything except a few fruit mixtures we give her a mixture of what she has had and in the morning a new fruit.....then 3-4 days later she will get a new one. Almost done with them all. Yay!!
