What are your plans for a nursery? Do you plan to decorate a second nursery or will kiddos share a room? Or no nursery for a while because baby will start off in your room? Other plans not listed? Are you more or less "into" decorating the nursery this time around?

Im so excited and worried for my appointment on Friday. I have this fear that I am going to go in and they are going to tell me something is wrong. I have no reason to think that there is anything wrong but still that fear is there.
As for nursery right now we live in a 2 bedroom house so we have no nursery. The new one will sleep in the pnp in our bedroom for some time.
I have my appt tomorrow so no real update yet. I am hoping for some progress but wont be surprised if there hasnt been any. I go back and forth between wanting her out NOW and being ok with being pregnant for a while longer. It usually depends on how uncomfortable I am. And now I am seriously suffering from a horrible cold which makes me scared for labor any time soon. How will I be able to push her out if I cant even breathe? Plus, I dont want to get her sick as soon as she's born.
QOTW: We're moving 3/31 so we havent done anything with a nursery now - she'll be in our room at least until we move. Obviously, we'll be decorating a new nursery since it will be a new house. I bought new bedding but she'll keep DS's furniture and he will move to a big boy bed. I am kind of sad that since we have so much work to do in the rest of the house, the nursery wont be finished for a long time, if ever. There is pink carpet which is horrible but at least it matches (that is how we chose the rooms!) and wallpaper that needs to be taken down. The carpet wont be replaced for a while but hopefully we will find time relatively soon to take down the wall paper and paint.

Since my last check in I had a first u/s and all is well. My EDD is now 9/5/2011. Next appt tomorrow.
Nursery plans - LO will sleep in our room for a while, but then will move into the third of our three bedrooms. It means no guest room, but oh well. The two small bedrooms are TINY so there is no way for the kiddos to share. I think we'll decorate again - right now it feels like there won't be the time or energy to do it up all over again, but DH is kind of in to it - which is funny!

Or no nursery for a while because baby will start off in your room? Baby will probably be in our room for first 6 months, so not in a hurry for nursery. Other plans not listed? Are you more or less "into" decorating the nursery this time around? Less, but b/c we have to wait for the addition and since we don't know the sex yet. I've looked at nursery themes, but haven't come across anything I'm super set on yet.
I have my 36w appointment tomorrow--where did the time go?? I start my weekly checks after that. We are going to spend the weekend getting ready for baby since it can happen any time now--I am both exhilirated and terrified that I can be a mommy to TWO very, very soon!
QOTW: Because we are having another girl, we decided to move Reagan into the guest room which is larger than the nursery. We painted the walls, bought new furniture and bedding, and made it into a "big girl" room. The new baby will essentially move into Reagan's old room with very few changes, although she will sleep in a co-sleeper in our room for at least a few weeks.
A possible future QOTW could be about how we are preparing older siblings for the new arrival.
Update: After a scare/bleeding episode last week, I saw a peri and discovered another SCH! (I had one with DD) Hopefully it will go away soon, will have another u/s next week then once a month.
QOTW: Trying to decide about the nursery. I might just make DD's room the baby's room and make her a new big girl room. Decisions, decisions!
This, exactly. My first u/s is on Fri morning and I'm super anxious. I'm just ready to KNOW, either way.
As for the QOTD, we plan to move DD to a big girl bedroom (our current office) and move the baby into her room (we made it gender-neutral for this very reason and will only have to make a few minor changes).
I had my NT scan on Mon. The babies looked great and were measuring right on track! Both the Dr. and the Tech guessed that baby A is a girl and baby B is a boy! I know it is still early but we are excited and I can't wait to know for sure
QOTW : I will not be doing a nursery until after the babies are born. They will be in our room for the first few months and after that we will most likely be moving. So I am just going to have to wait.
I almost forgot to check in myself. LOL Nothing really new with me. I've just been researching placenta previa and C sections and stressing myself out unnecessarily. I know there's nothing I can do except take it easy, but I'm afraid I'm going to start bleeding and end up in the hospital or on bedrest. And we are nowhere near ready for this baby! I need to step away from Dr. Google now!
QOTW: Plans for the nursery are one of the things that are stressing me out right now. We do have 4 bedrooms, but one is a guest bedroom and one is an office/junk room. Also, we will be moving back to Southern California eventually (probably a couple months after baby is borm) so I know it doesn't make much sense to set up a nursery. We plan on having him sleep in our room for the first couple months, but we still need a place to put his clothes, change his diapers etc.. So I need to figure out what furniture I need and make room for it somewhere. I was way more into planning/decorating the nursery with DD, and I feel badly about that but since we are moving I don't know what else to do.

QUESTIONS: What are your plans for a nursery? We are having boy/girl twins and they will be sharing a room. We have a 3 bedroom house (with a 4th added in the basement, but that's too far away for the babies or Bennett), so they will share a room until we move to a different house. It was hard finding neutral bedding. The set I picked it a little more boyish, but I like it: Jumpin for Joy from BRU. It has light green, orange, blue, and brown polka dots and stripes.
Are you more or less "into" decorating the nursery this time around? Yes! Sounds awful, but it's true. I'm working on Bennett's new big boy room, so there's just a lot to do! Plus I don't want to spend any more $ than I have to. I'm beyond scared about how broke we are going to be!
I had my NT scan yesterday and it's back to the specialist today. Things looked good at the NT scan but I'm still worried since this is the time period when I started to lose my third pregnancy. Every time I go to the bathroom I expect to see blood.
I haven't thought much about what to do with the kids, the baby and bedrooms. The baby will be in our room for about three months and then I will move him/her into the nursery which I will just leave as is. However, I'm uncertain if I'll try and keep my daughter in there still as well or move her in with her brother. The nursery is super small so it would be hard to squeeze two kids in there but Shannon's room is already all decorated very boyish so I feel bad sticking Quinn in there. I figure I have months and months and months to figure this out.

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
This Cluttered Life
No real updates for me. I'm an irrational mess, as always when pregnant but so far no unscheduled appts for a week so that is progress (I have weekly scheduled appts anyways now for cervical checks).

Not sure yet. With our history, we don't "do" baby prep before bringing home a live baby. When/if said live baby arrives, may depend on how well Toodle is sleeping and its gender. Regardless, new baby would sleep in our room for at least 6 months for SIDS avoidance reasons. If it's another boy we'll definitely do a shared room for a while since we only have 3 BRs and I'd really like to keep our guestroom, and I love some of the shared spaces ideas and decor at PBK (I am very into decor so definitely going to do SOMETHING). If it's a girl, after being in our room I'll probably decorate the third room at sometime during the 6 months it's with us, that room is already painted and has a chandelier that would be precious for a baby girl room. We'll see though. If this baby does arrive healthy, we'll likely want to sell in a few years max for a bigger house since when we bought it we never thought we'd have another, so not sure how much effort I want to put into it.
No new updates really - Next OB appt on 2/2 and NT scan on 2/22! Feeling tired and icky. Have had a touch of m/s here and there and ironically it set in the exact same day 8w4d as it did with Eliza.
I have NO idea what we are going to do about a nursery because we are hoping to buy a house. My current plan is to clean out the (tiny) office and move the glider in and have a changing table/dresser set up in there. I hate to buy anything new because I have 90% of my stuff in storage - maybe Ikea or Craigslist for something temporary. The new baby will be in our room for 4-6mo and I hope by then to be in our new place and at that point I would set up a nursery for the baby and a big girl room for Eliza! Hoping I will not have to buy a second crib!
How have I missed this for all this time?!? Guess I need to check out the board more often or maybe get my eyes checked, LOL! Anyway, I'm due 05/19/11 with another girl! Her name is Aubrey Danielle.
QOTW: Well, the girls and I are living with my parents until November. DH won't be home from training until June and we decided to rent out our house for a year. So this means, no nursery for a while for baby
Makes me pretty sad.
