So I just got back from our next step consult with RE. She gave us 2 options...1. Move right to injects or 2. Have laproscopy (blocked right tube) before starting injects. She did not feel one was better option than the other. I am not having pelvic pain so she doesn't suspect endo. My left ovary is the only one producing follies. They actually have yet to see my right on an u/s! So what DH and I are trying to decide is, is it worth doing lap? What made you decide on this procedure? Still don't know the outcome of this cycle yet, but we had our consult so we are ready for the next step if it is a BFN.

Re: What made you decide on a lap (paifw/saifw)
I went in for one after trying for 4 cycles, I had developed what my doc thought was a tubal cyst, and it was growing. He didn't like it, so he recommended it come out. He said he could do a fertility work up while he was in there (check for endo/adhesions, HSG). I ended up getting pg that cycle, but miscarried so we decided to go for it.
Turns out I had stage 3 endo, my left tube and ovary were adhered to my pelvic wall, and the cyct turned out to be an ovarian tumor. My tubes were clear, though, so that was good.
So, if you're having TTTC, it's a good way to rule out a lot of things. I didn't have any symptoms of endo either, just pain from the tumor. I'm really glad I had it done.

IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.
IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. IVF #4: BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #5: MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #6: (New RE): Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN
FET#1: BFN
I also had a blocked right tube and just had a lap done. Our RE gave us the option of either going straight to IVF or investigating the causes further (ie a lap). During the lap they removed my right tube and adhesions which will give us a much better chance at getting pg - it's possible that we will not need additional medical assistance for our IF as we are not aware of other issues. A lap will allow your dr to actually see what's going on - we had no idea there were adhesions until my lap. They can also remove your tube if it is hydrosalpinx at the same time - from my understanding this will boost your chances no matter how you approach getting ktfu. Good luck!

*~PAIFW/SAIFW~*
We were TTC for about a year but I'd had this weird pain for years and really wanted answers. I didn't think it could have anything to do with TTC or preventing it.
My new "RE" really listened to my story and my pain and said that a LAP was the only way to really see if there was a problem. It was a no brainer for me. I needed to know. I did have some endo but still can't get pregnant and they aren't sure why. Did stop most of the pain which is good! I still have some un-discovered pain but time will tell on that one.
Good luck with your decision.
I brought up having a lap I believe cycle 4 of taking clomid. My RE wanted to see if I became pregnant first. Since I didn't he felt that there could be some minor adhesions or endo that is preventing a pregnancy. I didn't have any endo, adhesions, fibroids, or blocked tubes. However I did have minor inflammation and an infection in my ute. I wouldn't have know otherwise unless I had my procedures done. Even if my RE didn't find anything, it would have given me piece of mind. So I'm on antibiotics until Tuesday and I'll see if any miracles happen. I'll have a repeat biopsy in March and hopefully have a plan with moving on with injects.
GL to you
