Gymboree question

I know that Beth is queen of this place, and I've read in a few places that she has some magic formula for shopping it and sales.

But I never paid attention because it wasn't relevant to me.

But now it's relevant.

Can someone please fill me in on how to get all this cuteness for less than the prices on the tags?

    Well, baby sale is coming up and it's the BEST SALE OF THE YEAR!!!

    Prices are automatic so you can use a 20% coupon on top of the sale - awesome.  There are 20% coupons in Family Fun magazine and Parents/Parenting I think that expire at the end of Feb.  Usually there are mailed coupons too.

    Basically, the rule is - do not ever buy full price (wait for a sale!) and always see if you can use a 20% coupon on top of the sale - most of the time you can - the only times you can't are during gymbuck redemption (you earn those right now and will during baby sale) and circle of friends.  Any sale that the prices are automatic, you can use a coupon on top of - any that you have to have a code - no coupon on top.

    Baby sale starts Feb 9th and there should be new lines out by then - maybe 2.  :)  It's best to buy full priced stuff, not mark downs during baby sale because it's only for full price lines.  I think Circle of Friends is coming up - 30% coupon - and it's good to shop that for lines that are already marked down.

    Do I sign up for the things you mentioned, or are they just coupons that show up in the magazines?

    You can sign up for Gymbo's mailing list, which is probably a good idea, and sign up for Gymbo rewards (basically they just track your purchases and you can earn rewards back on them w/out a credit card or anything).  I just started getting coupons one day in the mail - I'm pretty sure they just got the info from my credit card and using it in store/online.  I do use Gymbo rewards, though.  I've earned $5 and $10 every few months, I think.  You can always use that in conjunction w/ sales, gymbucks, etc.
