-And I mean that in a how well are you eating way.
I'm eating like crap. I feel like when I'm hungry I can't eat either because LO needs to nurse or I just have no appetite and can't force myself to eat. I'm losing weight quickly, which I suspect is partly because I'm not taking in enough food, but DH gets mad at me because I feel sick to my stomach when I try to eat. (Been drinking lots of Ensure to make up for it, but still...)
Anyone else?
Re: How are you eating?
I'm eating like crap, too. The first 2 or 3 days PP I was absolutely ravenous. Now it seems like the only times I get hungry is when I am busy feeding DD or trying to squeeze in 30 minutes of sleep, then the urge goes away by the time I get a second to eat. When I do eat I loose my appetite really fast.
I am steadily loosing weight & stretchmarks are showing up everywhere because it's coming off so fast, I suppose. I dont know if my loss of appetite is from depression or just sheer exhaustion. I do feel bad because my breast milk is probably lacking due to my poor nutrition.
For this child I prayed, and the LORD has given me my petition which I asked of him.

[spoiler]
Wow, go you! I'm still 10 lbs off, but was happy to see that I fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans on Tuesday. (They were a bit snug, but it was still victory to me!)
I've been eating well, but I'm far enough PP that I have a 'system'.
After her last feed before bedtime (around 10pm), my H will take her for cuddletime, and I'll prep food for the next day... put in water and coffee in the coffeemaker, cut up fruit & veg for breakfast and at least two snacks portioned into baggies, make sure the Brita is full, etc. Initially I was having poptarts constantly because it was easy to grab, but now it's just as fast to grab a bag of sliced up apples. He also takes her before dinner so I can cook, and since I find cooking comforting it's a good way to unwind.
