Hello, my son has brachacephaly and torticolis. sorry i know i spelled them wrong and i am on an android that i have no clue how to do caps.i just started dealing with star. they seem to be nice. alot of insurance companys do not cover the helmet because in most cases they consider it cosmetic. so it seems like star just has most patients pay the thirty three hundred dollars out of pocket. also most insurance companies want a pre auth before they even think about covering it. make sure u know ur insurance before you go there if u want to try to go that route. what was your childs diagnosis? i am here if you have any questions eventhough i am new at this too.
