Brand new preemie to join your group

One of my labor buddies, Femme Fatale, had pre-e that escalated to HELLP suddenly. Her OB had hoped she'd be able to hold on to her baby till 36 weeks but her baby girl (Team Green) was delivered via c-section this morning at 3:26am, 31-32 weeks gestation after Femme's BP spiked.

Baby girl's birth weight was 2lbs 10z and is 15.25 inches long. If she's anything like her mother, I'm sure she is a fighter. Femme has not met her daughter let alone held her as she is sick right now and not cleared to be near the baby. Once she gets the OK she'll be next to her baby every chance she gets. Femme also has toddler twins at home who were also preemies.

If possible, could you please keep this mom and new baby girl in your thoughts and prayers? We're praying for a swift recovery for mom to rejoin her baby girl and an uneventful NICU stay so she can heal quickly and get home to her family. TIA!

Oh my! I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope Femme recovers soon and that her little girl is a fighter, which I'm sure she is.

I remember her from the bedrest check-ins, such a sweetheart! Thinking of her and her precious little girl, hopefully she gets the all clear to see her very soon!
