Hey there :) New in town

Hello my name is Ester I am 29 and my husband is 36 ( 37 in May) we finally decided to start trying I have been on the Depo shot for a very long time on and off since I was 17 so I'm worried that being on it for so long might take us a long time. so far everyone has been mentioning the pill but I have yet to come across anyone that has taken or been on the shot. I'd like to hear from anyone that has or had similar experiences I'd greatly appreciate it. I am on my last round of the shot my next cycle would be in April so since we are going to start I will no longer be renewing it. Also I am a type 2 diabetic so that doesn't help the story.

At the end of December I went to see an OB doc and he said I should be fine. I'd like to her what you all have for me. Thank you.
