When did you introduce these to your LO, instead of letting them eat off the tray of the high chair? DD just turned 1, and just dumps them, so she's still off the tray.
S's daycare introduced paper plates when she was 11 months old. She seems to do pretty good with those there. We're still using the tray at home - we've been trying to practice with using a spoon, so it gets messy already.
From almost the beginning with us. But I got a suction cup bowl simliar to this only they came in a three pack. we also have a plate (I think it was from Gerber) but it isn't as good/suctiony. I also love that they have lids.
We kind of go back and forth. I just use the small plates with my old Corelle set since they're a good size for him. I figure anything cute and colorful will get his attention more and thus end up on the floor more often.

We've always used (or attempted to use) bowls, plates and flatware. She's improved, slowly. Now she only puts stuff on the tray that she doesn't want to eat.

We've tried everything.
Paper and plastic plates just get dumped. Suction bowls/plates don't stick (great concept but, poor design) and end up on the floor as well.
