Success after IF
Another failed IUI...I want to cry
This SUCKS!!!!!! I started spotting exaclty on schedule. Honeslty it is shocking how predictable AF is.... WTF
Worst part is that now that means I am moving on to IVF. I can not believe that we have been trying for over a year for number 2 and that now I have to do another fresh cycle after a failed FET, m/c and now 3 failed IUIs
Ha and to think I actually thought I would be pregnant at the same time as all my stupid pregnant co-workers....nope. Plus things at work are terribe and the weather today is awful.
I am so out of sorts today. I just want to cry in my office.

Our original diagnosis (before DD) was MFI ( low count under 5 million). RE suggested we go right to ivf after DH's count did not improve post varicocele surgery. IVF#1 worked. Well now 3 years after his surgery his count is normal. But we suspect I also have some underlying issues we did not realize. I always have a very short LP and Now doing these IUIs my e2 never gets high so RE thinks I am probably not making mature eggs. But obviously I did get pregnant so we are so confused. I am just done with the IUIs. This cycle I triggered with 6 follicles (RE thought only 2 of them would be mature) so I was of course worried it would not work and on the other hand stressed about HOM. These IUIs are such a guessing game. I feel like I am playing Russian roulette every month. I do have IVF coverage so I am ready to move on but I am dreading it.

Wow that is a rollercoaster. Just when you get good news ( with dh counts ) you get bad news. I'm shocked you had 6 follies. I'm sure IVF is intimidating...but how awesome that you have that coverage. I hope the best for you
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!

hang in there sweetie! you'll be knocked up soon, if IVF worked for you before, it's very likely to work again.
try to do something nice to pamper yourself today.. sending many hugs.
LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).

i'm so sorry, but just think, when you do get pregnant all focus will be on you!
on a side note, we started TTC #2, back in July. After 5 failed IUIs (1 m/c) We finally decided to just move to IVF. I had never done one before (conceived DS on IUI #7), but we were tired of waiting and guessing, so we just did our first IVF this month. I think if you are comfortable with IVF and ahve the coverage, just do it. Then at least there is no guessing. GL!

Yeah my body is goofy - it has not been that long. They do back to back IUI cycles and a cycle only lasts about 3 weeks for me.

September 2011 - Puregon/ 1500mg Met/ Baby Aspirin - BFFN!!!!
