DD takes 3 naps during the day. One in the morning, one in the afternoon and usually a short one at night before bed. The first two are usually about an hour sometimes shorter sometimes longer... She also STTN from about 9-6 on the weekdays and 9:30-7:30 on the weekends... just wondering what everyone else's LO were doing when it comes to naps?

Re: How many naps does your 7 month old take?
DD dropped down to 2 naps right around 6 months just before we started sleep training. Once she did that her bedtime became much earlier. By 7 months she was taking 2 naps a day, usually at 9:30 ish and 1:30ish, each were about 60-90 mins. Her bedtime was between 7 and 7:30 depending on when she woke up from her last nap. She would sleep until approximately 7am with an occasional night wake/feed at 3ish.
DD takes 3 or 4 naps a day. She usually takes an early morning nap around 7:15 (I wake her at 5:45 during the week), a morning nap around 10:00, and then an afternoon nap around 1:30-2:00. She will also take a catnap on the car ride home. The length of her naps vary - anywhere from a 1/2 hour to 2 hours.
3- one about 1 1/2 to 2 hours after first getting up, another around 2 or 3pm and he usually sleeps on the car ride home from work/daycare (about 25-35 minutes). He averages about 30 minutes per nap, every once in awhile the nap gods will smile down on me and he'll take an hour nap. He goes to bed between 7:15 and 8pm each night and gets up between 6:45-8am depending on if its a daycare day or not (STTN). If anyone has any tips for extending nap lengths, I would love to hear them! He is much happier when he has a good nap.
ETA: Although I will take a bad napper who sleeps through the night over night wakings and a good napper.
2 naps and sometimes a quick nap on the way home from daycare.
He was all over the place with his naps, but now he's really a 2.5-3 hours awake kind of baby. And his naps are usually 1-1.5 hours.
Three. The morning and early afternoon naps are usually about 1.5 each. The late afternoon one is usually just a 30 minute power nap.
