We are going to be traveling in September- when DD#1 is almost 27 months and DD#2 will be 3 months. At this point DD#1 is still in her crib, and DD#2 will be in our room with a pack n play or bassinet for the first few months. When on vacation, we will keep DD2 with us in a pack and play, but not sure what to do with DD1. Will she be too big for a pack and play, but too small to be in a double bed alone (likely the hotel doesn't have bed rails, is my guess...)? We will have a condo with 2 bedrooms, so definitely have enough room, just not sure what to put DD1 in for sleeping.
Any suggestions?? Thanks!
Re: Moms with 2+- help with sleeping arrangements when traveling
I don't have 2 yet, but can you bring a blow up mattress to put on the floor of the other room?
This is definitely a possibility- I'll have to call the resort to see if there would be enough room. Maybe a practice run at home first to make sure she stays and doesn't explore! Haha.
Thanks!
Christmas PJ's!
My daughter (almost 3) got a blow up mattress for Christmas that is the size of a pool float and has a sleeping bag that fits over it. It's Disney Princesses and it was $15 at KMart. She loves sleeping on it when we travel. My son got one as well (21 months) and did not do very well sleeping on it yet. He is going to stick with the pack and play for a little while longer.
