I have had a terribly sinus infection! I'm finally getting over it, my OB put me on a Zpack to help out, and everything else seems like it's back to normal.
BUT!
I feel like I cannot TAKE a deep breath! I'm an elementary school teacher so I'm up and moving constantly. I feel more out of breath than usual and I have to stop teaching to take and try a deep breath. I have an appointment on Friday, so I plan to ask my OB then. I can breath normally, but I feel the need to take deep breaths more and it's just not coming easily. I don't think all the sinus stuff is settling in my chest, but I don't know! I have a dry cough - but nothing that sounds serious and no fever.
Could this be to the increase amount of blood flow for a pregnancy? Could it be my body just trying to get used to being pregnant and has anyone else ever felt this way?
Thanks for your thoughts!
Re: Feel like I can't breathe!
I am a college professor and 8 weeks pregnant, and I am having to stop during lectures to take a deep breath. I had the same thing with my last pregnancy also, even this early, so it could just be pregnancy related, but always a good idea to have them check your lungs to make sure something more is not going on.
