Who here shaves for every dr appt?? I shaved last week so it's ya know fuzzy but not terrible, but it's such a damn chore nowadays that I REALLY don't feel like doing it before my appt today. I'm sure my dr is prob used to it, I can't imagine I'm the only one who finds it to be too much work this far along. Especially when I can't see what I'm doing. lol

lol lucky! My DH is in Germany for another 2 weeks, I jokingly asked my sister and she said she loves me... but not that much.

last time I shaved was about a week ago too. I didnt bother shaving for today though, too much of a hassle. I'm sure my doc has seen worse, I am reaching the point of no shame these days.

Too funny... I was contemplating going to get waxed before my appt next week but don't think i'll go through with it (ouch). As far as shaving goes I haven't done it in about 3 weeks... can't see what i'm doing to do it well and just not in the mood. I have to do something soon b/c i'm getting bush! LOL

I shave my legs and under arms everyday and the lady bits get waxed or shaved for every appoinment (even though the m/w doesn't go there). I hate having scratchy legs. Tongue Tied

I only shave for my doctor appointments now too. I feel like I'm doing him a great favor, and my self esteem. I'll keep shaving the day of my appointments, and yes I am going to take the time to shave when I start feeling contractions. I don't want to be that lady that we've all seen in the birthing class videos. Stick out tongue

Ummm. I've kinda said screw it. I still shave my legs and underarms regularly, but the lady bits only get the top part and upper inner thighs. I bought a trimmer, but I just can't seem to use it effectively and it pulls like crazy. I really really don't think that my midwives care. I'm gonna ask today what the protocol is for shaving for birth, but again...I highly doubt that they care.

Prepare to be grossed out, I shave *maybe* once a month now. Pits get it every shower of course, but DH has never cared much and I don't get internals, so I find it difficult to care... My legs haven't been touched in a couple weeks and the vag... mmm Christmas-time? I do trim, but we had a tiny annoying-to-shave-in shower pre-pregnancy, now its a nightmare. I do plan on shaving this weekend when we go to the in-laws who have a tub where I can sit down in the shower and shave. Sounds silly but I am SO looking forward to this!

I thought I was getting induced yesterday (obviously it didn't end up happening), so Monday night I made sure I looked good down there! I don't want my baby's first impression of me to be "holy bush status, mom!".

I still shave regularly. I'll check to see how it feels down there when in the shower to see if I need to, but that is about it. I can't stand to feel hairy anywhere.

I do-- lately I've been shaving the morning of my appointment and one other time per week. I don't necessarily plan to do it when I go into labor, so at least this way I know I won't be TOO overgrown.

I definitely wonder what it looks like down there. I do my best, but for all I know, it could look ridiculous.

I probably win the worst patient of the year award compared to you - I went almost forever without shaving my legs and then I finally broke down a couple weeks ago. I am going to try and shave tonight since I have a dr appt tomorrow where he's actually checking things down there, but for the most part he hasn't had to see my legs or my crotch in a few months so I haven't been shaving. I think to be nice I will try to groom up tonight and recruit my husband if I need any help : )

I've been shaving for every appt (including last week) but also don't know if I really want to deal with it today. I think I might just do my legs and not worry about the bikini area, it's not too bad (one week's worth) and I'm sure my doc has seen worse.

This is me! I last shaved a few weeks ago, and my lady garden hasn't been mowed in *quite* a while. I get my underarms every time I'm in the shower, but they're also a heck of a lot easier to reach than any other body part I'd want to shave!

I don't really care what my midwife sees. I'm sure she sees worse on a daily basis. Some women go au naturel downstairs, and I've got NUTHIN on them.

I know it sounds gross, but Im done. I told my DH I am not shaving again until this baby is out of me! I shaved this past Monday for my Dr appt, and it is such a pain. Literally, it hurts to try to shave because my belly is so huge! So I'm done. I'm sure they have seen it all, so I don't even care anymore!

This! Up until 2 weeks ago I wouldn't get checked at the doctors, so once I started I had to shave for my own self-esteem. It was such a chore and I don't look forward to doing it any time soon!
