I know I haven't been very supportive on here lately, because I have been feeling so defeated with being told I need to wait until May to meet with a genetics counselor, and I just don't have anything nice to say these days. 

I set an appointment with a new RE in town and I really hope he will let us move forward without the genetics counseling (since I was given the impression by the Genetics Lab that my issue is not nearly as bad as it was originally explained to be). 

Today I picked up my medical records from my current fertility clinic and spent about an hour reading through them. It was really emotional to read the d&c summary, but it did feel good to read that before the procedure was done they did do another u/s to confirm there really was no heartbeat. I also learned so much more about what was done during my Lap...I had no idea how messed up I was and how involved that surgery was. 

June 2010-Lap

    (((hugs)))  Medical records can sometimes be a little "overly" descriptive, especially surgical reports, but I agree with you, I would want to read it too, to know what happened.  I hope that you get some good news from the new RE and I hope you were able to get the appointment for very soon.

    I hope you get some good news soon and I completely understand feeling the need to step away from the board for a bit. We all have crappy days when it seems nothing is going our way. We're here for you! ((big hugs))

    I hope the new RE is able to get you in sooner than May.  Also, I know what you mean about reading your chart.  My doc provided me with Ace's autopsy and it helped to confirm what I was told, but also very hard to read the details.  ((HUGS))
