So sick of facebook (friends PG mentioned)

OK, why do people feel it is necessary to explain what they do minute by minute and day by day. I know about more "friends" pregnancies than I would ever know about because of facebook. I went on today and a girl I use to work at had went to baby doctor, then went to the mall today....does everyone really need a play by play. I think the hardest thing is that she is pregnant with her 3rd and has the same OB as me...I am jealous that she is going and I am not.

Totally not related, I am on the 2WW and it is killing me......I want to be optimistic, but I am afraid of being crushed as well...

Sorry for the vent...you ladies are always so good to me ((HUGS))

Whenever I see a new FB pg announcement, I immediately hide them. That way I don't have to see their daily updates. I felt bad at first hiding them, but I had to do what was right for me to keep me sane!

I dread FB posts about pregnancies and people's LOs. It hurt when we were trying for so long and it hurts worse now. I made the decision when we were T-TTC that I would not post anything pg related on FB, were I lucky enough to become PG. Going through this loss has reaffirmed that for me.

So sorry you had it shoved in your face. Big ((hugs)).

I know what you mean I was just on for a second and someone was posting that they are 12 wks and just heard their baby's heartbeat and now I'm a sobbing mess. It's soo not fair I plan to stay off of fb from now on, I just can't handle it.

Agreed. I'm also tired of the requisite u/s photo that every pregnant lady insists on posting to her page, often as her profile picture!! If I'm ever lucky enough to get an u/s of my own, I vow not to post it because I know how upsetting it can be for those without one. Oh, and I vow to skip the play-by-play of my symptoms and OB visits. I wish my coworkers would do the same.
