went to L&D last night

When I got home from work I had some cramping, which I hadn't felt since the beginning off pregnancy. I drank 3 glasses of water and rested on the couch and after an hour it did go away. Then I took a shower and got ready to go to bed, but I started feeling even worse cramps, so I freaked out and called the on call doctor. She asked me to come in. My cervix was completeley closed, but they ran some tests and it came back that I had a bacterial infection that was causing the cramping. She told me that I needed to stay home and rest today. I'm glad that we went in because I would have just worried all night.

I'm sorry you had to go in last night, bacterial infections are annoying! I had one around 22 weeks and had to take two round of meds to clear it up. They're really common during pregnancy! Get some rest today. I hope you feel better!!!!
