Metformin XR vs Glumetza

Has anyone tried the Glumetza? My endocrinologist said that it should be easier on the s/e. Just wondering if anyone has been on both and noticed a difference.

Pregnancy didn't fix me, I'm back on it Sad

    I tried glumetza and it was not better for me. My RE did tell me that it is better for most, hopefully it will be better for you!

    i need to find a new endo stat. i loved the one i worked with while pregnant but he is in nyc and that is just really inconvenient. did you look for someone who has a lot of expertise in pcos? i am having trouble finding someone near me with that kind of background.

    Actually I didn't even think about it. I looked up endo's pre-TTC to control the PCOS because of cyst.

    My RE started me on Met, but now my endo dr feels I need it again based on my last bloodowork. I see her every 6 months for my thyroid issues.

    Now I get to see her every 3 months for this and cholestral issues, go me!

    I just looked at reviews on doctors, not their speciality, but again it was before I was TTC, so she was just another specialist. She and my OB sent me to my RE.
