2ww..how long before you really tested?

IUI done now bring on the 2ww. I didnt tell anyone the day I am going to test, not even my hubby. I want to surprise him the way I have been planning the last 16 month....if it's BFP! I say that now but we shall see how easily I can keep it to myself!

How early did you test? Did you honestly wait the FULL 2 weeks?

    Personally I would probably test around day 8, and Im just being honest cause I know I wouldnt be able to hold out... Then still test at like cd10 if I didnt get a BFP on day 8. Obviously the later you wait, the results will be more true. GL!

    I tested 10dpIUI for the first time. I thought if I tested that early, I would be able to wait until my beta at 14dpIUI but I tested on day 12 and 13.

    This time around, I'm hoping I can wait. It was really depressing to get the negative test on day 10 and think "well, maybe its too early so I'll test again in three days." Self inflicted mind games!

    I only did 1 IUI and had planned on testing at 11dpiui, but I started spotting so I never go the chance to:(

    For this IVF the earliest I'll test is Sunday, 7dp5dt (12dpo). But I might chicken out, I'm so afraid of a BFN!

    My RE says not to test before 14dptrigger or you could get a false positive. However, I think I will probably test out my trigger.

    I tested out my trigger (it was gone by d5pIUI). Then I tested on d10, knowing full well it would be too early but figuring if it was positive, I'd know then and if it was negative, I'd be ok to wait until d14. However, AF showed on d12 so I only tested the once. I'll probably follow the same pattern this time as well. I like to have a structure to my 2WW. :)
