If you spaced LO's one year shots...

How far apart did you space them, a few days, a week, two? We had to reschedule LO's shots b/c they were sick at their one year. We are going back in today and I know we only want to get the MR done today, but when did you get the other shots done.

Our pedi won't do them any closer than 30 days apart. So we typically wait the month.

Does your pedi do MMR at 12mo? Ours does not.

It always kind of blows my mind that they will give 5 shots on one day, but then make you wait a month in between if you space them out...

Ours is the same. He said that studies haven't been done with them any closer so they wait a month. We did the non live vaccines at his 12 month appt, and planned to do varicella at 13 months, MMR at 14 months (our office normally does both of these at the 12 month visit), and be back on schedule at 15 months. But he kept being sick, ear infections, etc., so he ended up getting varicella closer to 14 months, and didn't get MMR until 17 months.

We wait a month in between. DS has never gotten more than two shots per visit.
