In a new world record, I was there for fewer than 30 minutes, which beats the 2 hours from last week.
He
did an internal. He said he could touch the baby's head (!), he/she's
in a good position, still seems reasonable size, and I'm 50% effaced
and 1 cm dialated (which is more than I ever had with Kate!). He said
he would strip my membranes next week and at 40 weeks if I wanted.
Fingers crossed that I go into labor on my own sometime in the next 3 weeks!!!
"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies. God damn it, you've got to be kind."
