Okay, I answered SS. Normally I would say no, but, at the risk of sounding like a crazy person, here's my explanation:
In HS, I went to a fair and decided to get my palm read. The palm reader told me I would be pregnant many times but never bear a child. I brushed it off until my m/c a couple weeks ago (13 years later.) Now I can't forget about it and it makes it hard for me to be optimistic about getting pg again! I'm thinking about going to another palm reader in the hopes she'll say something different and then I can confirm that palm reading is a crock of sh!t.

Wow that is freaky.. Definately think you should go to another one to prove her wrong

Not really, when I was in HS I went with a group of friends to a spiritual mother and had a "reading" - afterwards I asked if perhaps me and my friend had gotten switched around b/c she was telling my friend she was going to Spain (at the time I was considering a trip) and that I was going to sing on stage (my friend was a singer). Needless to say she wasn't very pleased at my question and I got the whole "the spirits are never wrong" - well needless to say, I haven't been doing any singing (besides in the car) and while a few things were true (I met a Trish and had a life changing experience while I knew her) but yeah I'm still not convinced. I don't remember exactly what else was said, but mostly I think its hokey. BUT that said I'd still go and listen, if it sounded reasonable I might be more likely to believe but mostly I see those sort of things as entertainment, like a horoscope, I love reading them but I don't base much of anything on it.
Well except that I know not to make any big decisions or purchases during mercury retrograde but other than that... LOL. Ok now I sound a little crazy but yeah, things get weird around then and full moon so ya know... I haven't ruled it ALL out.

I voted yes because fortune tellers exist. Seriously, half of the readings is your interpretation of what is being said. The cards themselves are pretty vague and can have multiple meanings. And you better believe that anyone doing this professionally will be looking for your subconcious cues (raised eyebrows, smiles, sighs, eye roll, tension, blushing, everything).
It's fun to hear what they have to say, but take it with a grain of salt.

I voted SS. I don't believe that the majority of fortune tellers are correct, but I have heard some weird stories that I can't totally discount. And I agree that a lot of the reading is your interpretation. Also, I have never had firsthand experience with one, so I am reluctant to count them out entirely until I do.

I voted SS. Usually, I don't because most of them will say something extremely vague (I had one done at AC and it was horrible) but if they can nail it pretty closely, I probably would be a little bit more convinced.

Because of the great "Snow"vember of 2015, my medicated cycle was cancelled. However, we were blessed with our little rainbow baby due on 8/14/15! Baby J had other plans and decided to make his grand ole entrance on 7/4/2015!
Surprise! Our little girl entered this world on 12/8/2016 after her eviction notice was long past due. Our little turkey baby turned into a snow baby!
Third times the charm! BFP on 4/18/2019, EDD: 12/18/2019!
I believe in it but think that it does more harm then good (as pp demonstrated) and think that there is a very dangerous component in it so I stopped dabbling in it when I became a christian. There was one time in which I read a coworkers palm and it showed that she had 3 children. I told her that it confused me since I knew that she had two girls and she burst out in tears and told me that she had an abortion years and years ago (she was older) and never told anyone. Anyways, I stopped dabbling after that.
Plus I think it is destructive to tell someone they will be married multiple times when they are on their first marriage. I think it sets people up for self fulfilling type prophesies (does that make sense) and can only cause harm.

I'm afraid to go to a fortune teller- I'm usually not crazy like that but DH went to one with his ex who was scarily accurate about his relationship with her and how it would fall apart- I'm afraid a fortune teller would tell me we will never have a baby-
