Does anyone have this? What are your thoughts about it? We have read that the changing station is kinda flimsy, but really just want it to last until LO moves to the crib and then only when we travel....actually we want it to last for a long time, lol but that would be sufficient.... Is there anything similar that also has the napper/changing stations w/ vibration that would be better?
Re: Graco PNP w/ napper & changing station
We have this:
https://www.amazon.com/Graco-Pack-Newborn-Playard-Napper-Hamilton/dp/B003PDRNOK
I did not ever use teh newborn napper part but have used the changing attachment at my mom's house. Noah is 15 lbs now and when you set him in it, it tilts a little but holds him up. Set up and take down is super simple and fast!
We have the newborn napper and changing table and love it! So much so that we bought another one for our house in FL. His nursery is on the second floor and it is a PITA to go up there every diaper change. Same thing with the naps. Oh, and he LOVES the vibration feature.
Side note- I store all of his burp clothes, blankets, extra diapers, extra clothes, etc. under the napper and changer. It is really nice to have everything downstairs where I need it!
We have this, and use it as a bassinet in our bedroom. I love the napper-- he's always slept like a dream in there. The vibration function is awesome and helps move any residual gas through, I think. I also like the light, because I can leave it on and it provides enough for me to peek at him, but not so much that it bothers him or wakes him up.
The changer is a little flimsy, but we do still use it occasionally. It won't last for much longer, though-- think it's really only meant for tiny babies.
We love ours. Love love love! We keep it in the living room, so it's conveniently located next to the areas in the house we use most.
The napper is one of the few places she will sleep and it's the perfect place to plop her down safely when I have to warm up a bottle or do something quickly. Sadly, she'll be too long for it before much longer.
I've noticed the same thing as other PPs, that she does tend to roll a bit to the right on the changer, so I just lay her down next to the right wall to begin with. Otherwise, it's plenty sturdy. My main complaint is how low it is. If I'm changing a poopy diaper or if it's just taking a little longer than usual to finish a diaper change, my back really starts to hurt. For outfit changes, or if I know things might take awhile, I take her to the changing table in her room.
