Reed is talking more and more...He uses full sentences now, and can sing the ABCs! yay!!!! He also mimics our phrases which is hilarious. Drive carefully!!!
He is also trying not to cry when he gets hurt...Is that a developmental thing? I told him it's okay to cry if you are hurt, but it's like he's trying to be brave...so grown up!
Penny is talking A LOT. Which is crazy for me since Reed was delayed with this. She can repeat pretty much any word we say...multiple syllables too. She has several two word combinations.
And Penny is finally mastering using utensils. She is still messy but not nearly as bad as she was.
Ohhhh, and on the vain side...Penny is growing some hair! It's still thin and there isn't much in the front but it's looking kinda girly:) And Reed is handsome of course...We are letting his hair grow a little. We used to keep it shaved since it was so patchy:)
My inside baby has been awarded a black belt in karate:)
H is putting 3-4 words together to for simple sentences. She us also singing her ABCs with more clarity and she can count to 15 (without help but only when she wants). Every evening before bath time she sits on her potty chair and tries to pee(she goes about 1/2 the time). She's so much fun and makes me so proud!

Dillon can now say dog and something to the effect of "what's that" although it comes out as witz dat. He does it none stop, pointing at everything. He says more words, but those are his "regulars".
He can take 3 or 4 steps and is getting braver and braver taking those steps every day, so hopefully he will be letting go soon.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Not so big, but for months and months colors were either purple or not purple. Today Megan finally identified yellow correctly! Hopefully things don't become yellow or not yellow now.

Reed still calls everything Red as his "go to" colour and then when we ask him again, he gets it right. I think he's trying to be funny but I am not sure.

Haha, I first read this as your inside baby was stringing words together and I thought you were joking...reread it and got it! That's awesomet that she can count to 15. We are stalled at 12.
My boys are 10 months old today! They are sleeping through the night, eating (and loving) lots of table foods, and starting to stand independently. They got so big, so fast!

My son is finally crawling!!! He absolutely refused to try crawling for the longest time, he just wanted to stand and walk while pushing his bike/walker thing. I'm so glad he can finally get around because he is having so much more fun at daycare now that he can keep up with the other older infants.
It took 3 1/2 long years, but we finally got our little miracle!
IVF #1 - BFP (6dt)
Unassisted Pregnancy #2 - lost at 15w6d due to T21, severe heart defects, and fetal hydrops
For B, his newest thing is facial expressions. He does the cutest and funniest things with his mouth. It cracks us up.
E loves to share whatever you're eating/drinking and he'll go at it with his mouth wide open. You really have to watch or half of your sandwich will go missing!
And they're both starting to get into a really good sleep pattern, which we've really struggled with.
hmm...he really has the jumperoo figured out now...he used to just spend his time spinning around and playing with the toys, but now he likes to actually jump! And he's doing fantastic with sitting unassisted, reaching over to get toys, sitting back up, balancing
oh..and he's starting to think that lots more things are funny. It used to be just crazy noises or physically tickling..but now he's anticipating funny things, and thinking that things LOOK funny

Lol! I hope my inside baby doesn't come out speaking in sentences:) I was posting from my iPhone and couldn't seperate the sentences.
I think H counts to 15 because we have 15 steps going upstairs and we count them each time we walk up. I'm sure she'll be stuck at 15 for a long time!

Garrison's language is finally starting to take off. She can now say a few 2 syllable words. So stinking cute to her her say yellow (and once she sees yellow, every other color is yellow too) Last night I called MIL and she didn't hear the phone in the kitchen and G came running in carrying the phone saying "phone, phone".
She also sat on the stairs last night and tried to cross her legs....oh, and now whenever she gets a container of something like hand lotion she opens in and pretends to get some and put it on her face (and everyone else's face). She is so funny.

I don't know if it's an AW or an Ugh! DD is pulling herself up to stand. This morning I went to get her out of her crib and she is hanging over the side! Last night she would not stop pulling up on the coffee table and now has bruises all over her forehead from bumping it against the side. We've got some major baby proofing to do this weekend!!

Claire knows her shapes, including "offal," her colors and loves to sing the alphabet song. She can recognize numbers and about 7 letters. She also recognizes her name if she sees it. She also says "Bless you, Mommy" if I sneeze. If she sneezes, she also says "Bless you, Mommy." She also is insistant on wearing body spray or "pfume" everyday to daycare. She's becoming such a little independent thing!

We're working on colors, letters and numbers here and he is doing fantastic! He knows about 16 letters - he sees them and can name them, or if we ask him to find a certain letter he can do that. He only knows 2 numbers, but he's getting better at that. And everything is pink or purple, but we're getting there with the colors too!
we have been working on his walking and he has been taking more and more steps unassisted!!! Still very wobbly and very unsure, but he's doing it!! We are so excited!!
Anna is just starting to rock back onto her knees! There is a mobile baby in my future (not that she isn't a champ at rolling across the living room by herself now...). Eeek! I think I may see how she does with some finger foods this week, too.
Brought to you by IVF, ICSI, limited fert, and oocyte cryopreservation. Because we're fancy like that.
Andrew has been counting to 10 for a few weeks now. He can name all 10 shapes in his shapes book while we're looking at it, but outside of the book he's hit and miss with most of them. If he doesn't know, he guesses "circle." We've been working on colours but he's just not getting it at all. I'm sure he'll shock us one day and know them all quite suddenly; that's the way it's been. The language development is crazy. I can't believe how rapidly his vocabulary is growing. And he's a very good mimic.
This is a weird one, but sometimes he'll actually go to sleep in our bed! He never has before. He'd immediately sit up and think it's playtime and never settle down. I always thought it would be so nice to be able to pull him into our bed and snuggle if he woke up too early or was having a rough night, but it was never a possibility until recently.
Stella is starting to talk a bunch too! She's starting to repeat things we say and is able to better articulate things she wants. She's a big help with her little sister! She'll bring over Hadley's blanket, bottle, put her binky back in for her, etc. She also likes to wipe up messes with a towel. She's getting a lot better with utensils and has an awesome sense of humor!
Hadley is getting really good with her hand/eye coordination. She can take out her binky and look at it and try to put it back in. Not successful with that yet! She loves to look at her hands and hold onto toys. She's starting to roll onto her side so I think she'll probably start rolling over soon. We've introduced food but it hasn't become a regular thing yet. She laughs and "talks" all the time. OH...and she can do the tripod sit for a couple minutes at a time. I keep joking that she's going to sit before she rolls!

We're smack in the middle of the language explosion. And it truly is an explosion. Suddenly she's putting two words together, counting to 13, recognizing and saying colors, singing the ABC's, Itsy Bitsy, etc. She's in love with the words, "zero" and "Super Why" (the name of the PBS show) and "stars" She says them over and over all day long.
And she's jumping... or "NUMPS!" She yells that every time she jumps, it's hysterical. Coolest thing is she is actually jumping w/ both feet off the ground (not far off, but still!)
Elizabeth is finally talking more. She had maybe 5-10 words at her 18 month appt and two months later, she's up to 50. Most recent are Elmo (mah-mo) and eye.
I was rocking her last night and she'd point to her eye and say "eye" and then to mine and say "eye." Over and over again. I finally had to cut her off!
The next best thing? After we read, I always ask her if she wants to rock or go straight into the crib. The last two nights, she's wrapped her legs around my waist as I head toward the crib and pointed at the rocker. So I've rocked her to sleep. And I don't even care if it messes up her sleep. Those are moments I won't get back.
After 20 months, 3 Clomid cycles and 4 IUI cycles, IVF #1 with ICSI = BFP!
We have had a bunch of new milestones in the last week! Dylan is finally saying some more two word phrases (right after daycare told us last week they thought he was behind in his speech). He is finally not so scared of his little ATV and has been riding around on that. He also started riding his little balance bike (bicycle with no pedals) around last night without our help balancing. He has also started going potty in the big boy potty this week!

Brady has been able to pull himself up while hanging onto our fingers for a while, but just a few days ago he pulled himself to standing on both the couch and his activity table. He has also take 3-4 steps completely unassisted in the last 3 days. It is so cute when he toddles towards me - giggling and obviously pleased with himself the entire time!
He is also getting a new tooth every week or two - which has caused some sleepless nights in our house recently.
DD has definitely had a word explosion in the past 2 months... she has over 100 words and is starting to put 2 words together (making this speech therapist mama very happy ) And she's working on saying "help mama" rather than screaming when she needs something. It has cut down on tantrums a tiny bit, so I'm hoping that it helps even more soon when her communication skills get even better.
She is finally getting the hang of utensils, and she can eat her applesauce and oatmeal by herself now (and is so proud!). It's quite messy of course, but I don't care!
And today she finally followed along with most of her music class (before she would just stare at the other kids or run around the room) which made me happy. I was starting to doubt that we made the right decision about shelling out that much $$ for a class that she didn't want to participate in. But she loves it!
Tempe has started crawling all over the place in the last week. She also claps when she does something she deems impressive. lol She's pulling up to her knees and has pulled up to stand and walked around her musical table!
Jonah is crawling backward and just starting to learn to pull up to his knees but if he follows his normal for milestones, he'll do it once or twice and then have a long period of not even trying before he starts pulling up and crawling forward all the time.
Both of them say "mama" and "dada" to the correct person about 80% of the time now to get our attention or if they're cuddling. both can open and close their hand to say "bye" and Jonah says "nananana...nananananana" to my husband since he imitates that from Caddyshack to him all the time. lol They STTN and nap like champs in their cribs and tooth count is 6 for Jonah, 7 for Tempe (she's getting 3 in now - fun times).
This is so fun! I love seeing how awesome everyone's kids are doing and what I have to look forward to!
I feel like in the last week Gwen has become an adult. She has gone pee on the potty twice even though we haven't officially started any kind of training.
She can count to ten, kind of. She skips 4 and 5 but says 1-3 and then 6 through 10. haha She also knows how to spell her name. If I say G, she says "douba" "e" "n."
She dances and talks up a storm and knows a few colors. Except for some reason she thinks that snow is purpa (purple).
I love this girl so much!
