Planning a summer vacation!

It's not a big trip or anything but I'm very excited.  My sister and her family have gone to Cape May, NJ every year since their kids were little and I think we're going with them this year.  We live in NJ now but I've never been to Cape May and it sounds so quaint.  And there will be a ton of kids there since they go with friends.  A family vacation right near his first birthday!!  I hope my DH can get off from work.  I probably shouldn't admit this but I'm going anyway if he can't.

    I'm in jersey too and we go down the shore a lot! My Aunt has a house on the beach is Mantolooking so I spend a lot of time with her! I just stay away from seaside height LOL!

    Lol.  I've never been to seaside but I think 'that show' has really given it a terrible rep!  We've been to the arcades at Point Pleasant and that's fun (off season).  We're pretty close to the shore so I think we'll get a pass to Sandy Hook this year.  That's not everyone's favorite but I love it and it's much cheaper than, say, Long Branch.  Long Branch is pretty, but it's a beach and I don't really see that much of a difference. Oh, I like Ocean Grove too.  Is Mantolooking nice?  I have to get around more and learn about different areas!

    Yeah the show has given a lot more attention to Seaside plus it is more or less a hang out for the young party kids! Mantolooking is really nice and love how it isn't far from Point Pleasant either. lbi  is my favorite though, very family friendly!

    fun!!  we are currently planning a trip to the outerbanks with out IL's!  I can't wait! :)
