I cannot believe MH!! Total vent

We both got up at the same time today and worked our 9 or so hours. Every time he came out of his office for a break his phone was in his hand and he was playing a video game.  I don't think I took a break.  After work, he ran out to go buy something - some whim of his.  I cooked dinner.  After dinner we both watched half of a movie.

Now I have to clean the kitchen and I said he should come help me.  His response was "I'm getting ready to go to bed".  Poor excuse to start with because SO DO I!!  And then I come out of the bathroom to find him playing a video game!!  What happened to needing to go to bed??  His excuse this time when I said "you have time for video games but not helping me clean the kitchen?" was he needs to unwind.  WTF???  When do I get to unwind???

    You will never get to unwind! Especially after the baby is born. I don't remember the last time I got to relax!! I on the other hand am milking it. I tell MH I'm too tired to cook, clean, and too fat to roll out of the couch! He has been helping out way more and we either get take out or he cooks. You have to approach this carefully or you will come off as a biotch! LOL Men can be clueless... Sorry hon!

    Endo & fibroids - 3 surgeries since 1997 Married 08/08 - Started TTC 12/08 IUIs 1-3: BFNs IVF/ICSI #1, 01/10 - BFN; FET, 08/10 - BFN IVF/ICSI #2, FET 11/30/10 - BFP!!! Betas 1-6 went from 160-5055. 1st U/S 01/03/11 - 131 bpm! 2nd U/S (@8 wks) 01/10/11 - a 1.5cm peanut! 168 bpm! D&C 2/14/11 after terrible results at our NT scan.

    Must be in the air here in PA because mine left me a sink full of dishes after he made a meal for himself, then started a pot of soup with the leftovers.  I found a note that said, Hey babe, can u finish this up for me???

    GRRRRRR.

    Oh Gym, you know I feel you on this one!  Hang in there honey!

    I left all the dishes in the sink last night because DH was home all day and didn't offer to help clean up.  I put the leftovers in a bowl and stacked everything in the sink.  For his sake, I really hope it's not still there today when I get home Angry

    I definitely understand! I hope it was just an off day for him and he pitches in from here on out!
