2month shots

My DD got her shots today (a whole list of them that I cannot get to at the moment. I have to type this fast before she wakes up again.. ) She got them around 2:45p today, and was fine until around 5:30/6 this evening. Since them she has been SCREAMING! her poor little head off and I don't know what else to do for her. She's crying so hard she can't catch her breath. Right now she is sleeping, but I have a feeling it will only last maybe 20 minutes. (Nevermind.. she's up now..) 

She'll calm down and be totally content, and then out of no where she jumps like something scared/hurt her when nobody even touched her or made a peep. Then she'll scream bloody murder.  

 Help!!

    Oh no!!  I'm guessing she's just scared and/or having a slight reaction to the shots.  You might call your ped though to make sure.  Poor thing!  Just hold her and love her as much as possible and know she'll be ok in a day or so.  Hang in there Mommy!!

    My LO was very fussy a few hours after her shots.  She screamed and cried a lot, which she never does.  The only thing that would calm her was to breastfeed.  I also gave her some infant tylenol, which her pedi said to do if necessary.  Fussiness and a low grade fever are completely normal after vaccination shots.

    Thank you guys! She was having a little trouble pooping, too. I didn't realize that at first though because I was so focused on the reaction from the shots. She got rid of her potty problem, got a fresh diapie, and her pretty princess nightgown on and now she's sleeping very peacefully in her swing. =]
