Stupid question for everyone

Ok, I think our city is switching shlt up on us. The new intersection is set up weird, but here's the weirder part, you don't turn left until AFTER the two sides have gone straight.

It's only on one street. Is this weird? Are they changing them everywhere? Lol

I told you it was stupid, but it's bugging me.

Ours are all set up on sensors so if you arrive later than the cycle started it will trip it to turn after all the straight lanes go. It's hard to get used to!

lol - that's normal for us. in texas.

kidding though we have some that are like that here but only during peak times.

It seems like half of ours are timed and half are sensor. It's a pain in the butt, especially when they are always doing construction.

We have one intersection where they recently changed it to do that, but there is construction in the neighborhood and it is a busy intersection right before the main freeway on-ramp for the area. I think that might be why they changed it. It is really annoying though.
