Not every twinge..

means I'm in labor or am "about to pop the baby out". My co-workers are driving me crazy.  According to them every time something hurts it means i'm going to go into labor any second.  Today I was having hip pain and suddenly they all swear I won't be in tomorrow because I'll be delivering the baby tonight... HMMMM i'm not due for another week and a half, I have no contractions or any other symptoms but they know better.

 ARGH!!!

Re: Not every twinge..

  • Will you come and explain this to my co-worker? She is due in month and has been to 'emergency' doctor appointments twice in two weeks because she is convinced she is in labor.  Every BH or pain and she thinks today is the day.

  • Mine tells me I won't make it to next week because he's dropped a little. I mean it's a very small amount. I know that ultimately even though it's scheduled I don't have a say, but next week would seriously seriously suck. (Note to universe, if he needs to come out next week that will be fine)

  • Shucks, stop seeing the doctor! They clearly know more than he does.

I would be REALLY tempted to p*ss myself, then run through the office screaming 'My water broke!!'' just to get them. And have a back up pair of britches and pants to change out of your peed in pants.

Aidan was due 4/22 so my plan for April Fools was to tell everyone that my water broke.
