I just got word that my new Medela will be arriving tomorrow and I'm to ship my old one back, at their cost.
Do you think I need to send all the bottles, tubes, parts back along with it or just the bag/pump itself? I'm thinking they prob. won't want all that used stuff but am afraid they won't consider it "complete" if I don't. WWYD?
Thanks!
Re: anyone else send their Medela back under recall?
me too- what is the recall?
I would send everything back- or call and ask- I mean you can use the parts they will just through them out.

I submitted mine b/c it was losing suction after the first 3 minutes. I thought I was going crazy and actually suffered some supply issues (possibly as a result). I took it to have it checked a few times but I never made them test it for more than a ten seconds or so. Basically, anything I pump is pumped in the first 3 minutes and then that is it - even if my breasts are still full.
This!
If you go to this portion ( www.medelareturns.com.), it'll give you serial numbers. I found my serial number on the box my pump came in. I rarely save the boxes but did with this for some reason.
That's weird! I got my shipping label via e-mail first and then a 2nd e-mail a few days later saying the replacement was on its way. You may want to check your junk mail or something.

I just filled out the basic information they asked for on the website...really just my mailing address and few yes/no questions about my pump. In the little bit of info, they didn't even bother to ask how my pump was performing. A few days later I got my shipping label via e-mail, no questions asked.
I recieved my replacement pump last week. This is my 4th pump, I have already sent back 2 and will be sending the 3rd back tomorrow, I have only sent the bag, pump and cord. I have kept everything else. The person I talked to told me to keep everything they just want the pump and cord.
