TTC After a Loss
DH told my ILs (his grandparents) to STFU.
Here's why: https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/48158955.aspx (Summary: DH's grandpa told me my eggs were getting rotten.)
He called them and told them to just avoid talking about having babies and pregnancy at all. He said that I am still very upset about it and sometimes I blame myself for what happened so bringing it up and bugging me about it makes me feel worse.
He told them that we'll let them know when I am pregnant again but until then to just stop bringing it up, which is smart. I didn't even know what to say to them, so I love that he handled it so well and stood up for me. He is very close to his grandparents, he lived with them for a few years in college and he respects them a lot, so I know that was hard for him, but he's my hero and he always puts me first. I love that about him!

BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)
3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!
Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500
First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat
LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!
TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015
Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015
Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270
First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.
JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

Way to go, DH! What the grandparents did was completely unneccessary to say to you (in front of their friends no less), especially after they knew what you were going through.
Because of the great "Snow"vember of 2015, my medicated cycle was cancelled. However, we were blessed with our little rainbow baby due on 8/14/15! Baby J had other plans and decided to make his grand ole entrance on 7/4/2015!
Surprise! Our little girl entered this world on 12/8/2016 after her eviction notice was long past due. Our little turkey baby turned into a snow baby!

Oh Ginger I'm so glad he stood up for you, what a great guy! I can imagine it was hard but I hope they take it seriously and back off, you don't need any additional pressure. *HUGS* Hopefully it won't be long before they can start harassing you again in a good way. Fx!!!
