TTC After a Loss

Zumba

Hey ladies, I'm trying to shift my thinking on this down day - so picking something else to talk about. Exercise!

I started doing Zumba 3 weeks ago, love it! And I could see it being an excercise I could continue a while even with a BFP (hoping, hoping). What does everyone else do? What will you do when you get the BFP?

  • I haven't tried Zumba yet, but I used to do jazzercise a couple days a week. Right now i"m doing the couch to 5k program and I'm working with a personal trainer once a week. If I get a BFP I'll probably cut way down on how often I run but continue to work with the trainer to keep in shape.

  • I go to the gym and every now and then use the Flirty Girl Fitness video I have Embarrassed  It actually works and gives me some ideas for FP with the DH!  I'm trying Zumba for the first time so I'm excited.  When I get my BFP, I'm going to go to the gym but take it very easy and skip any ab work outs.

    Because of the great "Snow"vember of 2015, my medicated cycle was cancelled.  However, we were blessed with our little rainbow baby due on 8/14/15!  Baby J had other plans and decided to make his grand ole entrance on 7/4/2015!

    Surprise!  Our little girl entered this world on 12/8/2016 after her eviction notice was long past due.  Our little turkey baby turned into a snow baby!

  • Zumba is super fun - it is a core workout but no floor work at all. It's really just dancing around and having fun which is why I think I'll stick with it for a while. Wink

  • I love Zumba! The classes at my gym are so packed you can't move, so I stopped going.  I'm honestly considering getting it for the Wii or ordering a dvd so I can do it at home.  I've been doing yoga & walking with DH.

    5/1/11 - BFP #3 - Pre-eclampsia, IUGR & bed rest from 32w. DD born via induction 1/4/12.
  • I also do Zumba and LOVE it! I have the DVD set so I just do it in my living room my by self and have a blast! I will probably continue doing it once I get my next BFP, maybe just do it with a little less energy/effort.

  • Can we could Wii Just Dance? Stick out tongue I'm also doing the Couch to 5k and working on building some muscle! I do the 30 Day Shred on off days (most of the time). I have been thinking about Zumba. There's a place near my house that offer is Monday evening but I'm nervous!

  • I have Zumba for the Wii too - the class program I'm in is primarily during the week not so much on the weekend so I like to use the Wii on the weekend. I like it but you're right, it is hard to get some of the moves. So I just shake it however I want. Stick out tongue

  • I'll keep doing what I am already doing. Free weights, TRX, Kettlebell, rowing and running/walking. I'm going to aim for consistency this time instead of intensity. Hopefully 'this time' comes within the next few days... Fingers crossed!
