DS is only 3months, and he LOVES his jumperoo. I put him in it and he will play for a good 45 minutes to an hour in it. If he starts to cry I twist him around to a new toy and he gets all excited about that for a while.
yeah LO loves hers...we have the Baby Einstein music one. We got it for Christmas and she's always enjoyed sitting in it. She's still not quite big enough to reach the floor but we sit there with her and bounce her in it, and she loves the lights and spinning things. I've also clipped a bunch of her toys to it and she likes watching those too.
DS didn't really get the idea until 6 months old. He liked sitting in it at 4 months and looking at the toys, but didn't do more than one or two jumps at a time for quite a while.
We started putting her in her jumparoo at 3.5 months. I think she like it because she doesn't fuss, she looks around and watches everything, and she gnaws on the frame....buttt she has yet to master the "jumping" part of it. I love it because I can take long showers while she's awake.
Katie loves the jumperoo. We put her in there and she jumps and jumps and jumps until her arms get stuck in the legholes and she can't get them out.
We aren't putting Natty in it quite yet because her head is still wobbly.
Unable to even.

We just pulled ours out last night and so far, DD seems to like it. However, my DS (who is 3) is now sitting in it... Fingers crossed he doesn't break it...though he only weighs 5lbs more than the weight limit, but is waaaaayyyyy over the height limit!
Oh yeah, DD is a jumpin' fool! WE got it for her for Christmas, so a little before she was 4 months old. It took her a week or 2 to really figure it out, but now she LOVES it!

First of all, can an exersaucer only be used for so long? Do they grow bored since they can't jump much?
I got the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders jumperoo as a gift and assembled it this past weekend... only to discover it was a totally unstable. The thing felt like it was going to fall over at any moment, everything was so wobbly even though it was put together correctly. I felt bad because some fabulous friends got it for me off of our registry, but I had to return it to BRU. I put Lilly in it for a few minutes and she was fascinated, but I just couldn't keep it because it didn't seem safe at all. The 3 stands on the bottom didn't even touch the floor evenly.
So who has a jumperoo that doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart when the kiddo bounces in it.
I actually got mine off of Kohl's.com with a 30% off coupon and free shipping. I ended up paying ~$60.00 and it is the updated version. I can't seem to find it on the site right now but if I find it I will link.
DS likes it but is too short. Putting the Wii balance board under it seems to be the perfect height. He likes it, but he likes it better when I sit right in front of it and play with him. He's not too independent with playing yet.

I just realized they jacked up the price on Amazon! When I got mine a couple months ago it was $65...dang!

The jury is still out for us. He seems to like it, but not for long, 15-20 minutes tops ... then again he doesn't like to do ANYTHING but sleep for longer than 15-20 minutes.
We started putting him in it at 3.5 months and he is slowly staying in it longer and longer, and just jumped in it for the first time last night.
So far so good! DS is so darn cute in it, too. He still needs a pillow under him and hasn't quite gotten the hang of jumping, but he isn't too far off.
DD loves hers...she is 4 months and 1 week old...we have the Bright Starts jumperoo - I got it at Toys R Us on the clearance rack for $19.99 with 20% off and then had $15 in Rewards cash so i only paid $3 after tax!! It's pink (we were hoping for something more neutral for a second baby to use, but couldn't pass up this price), but has a lot to offer! It's really stable and was easy to put together. We have the jumperoo at home and then at my sitter's we have an exersaucer with a bunch of activities and then at my mom's we have the FP Step n Play piano (from a few years ago - bought it at a garage sale for $15 - same model, just different colors) and she loves them all...we usually put a Disney movie on to give her bright colors to see on the TV and she likes Mickey's voice too, so those help entertain her long enough to make and eat dinner!
i just put DS in his for the first time yesturday, and he LOVES it. hes a little short, so i put a book under it so his feet can touch. he played in it for 45+min when i first put him in it.
Re: 4 monthers with Jumperoos
DD absolutely adores her jumperoo. We have it on the lowest setting and she reaches the floor and jumps like a mad baby
I never let her sit in it for more than 30 minutes. Thought sometimes after 15 minutes she is fast asleep. She gets her workout in it and passes out.
She uses her exersaucer too but the jumperoo definitely gets more action.

I have a Jumperoo/Exersaucer question.

OH MY GAWD!!!! That picture of Violet is awesome.
I think I am going to have to take our jumperoo out. We are using the exersaucer and she isn't loving it.

Both of them love it- they hop around like those mexican jumping beans (now that I think about it- are jumping beans mexican?)
We started them in it when they were about 3 1/2 months
