She took 4 steps!!!!!

A took 4 steps today at PT!!! I am so stoked.

I took her to her monthly PT this past Wednesday, and to be honest I was very discouraged. I talked to the therapist and told her how discouraged I was, that it seemed like A has been on the brink of walking for about a month now but absolutely nothing is happening. She almost seems timid to try it.

Well her PT suggested we step up the PT for the next two weeks and I'll be taking her twice a week. So we went back today.

We tried something new with me leaving the room but in earshot so the therapist could work with her on her own, so A wouldn't be trying to get back to me constantly.

Well it worked. She got her to take two steps in there, and then walked her out to where I was and she stopped two steps from me and let go of A's hands and A took two steps to me! I was so excited and happy for her

Just wanted to share this with y'all It definitely made my day.
