Trip to L&D... kinda long sorry
Last night after getting back from last min, shopping at BRU with my mom I came home and went to bed except the moment I laid down I knew something felt different! I let DH sleep for about 4 hours until I couldnt take it anymore. I was having back labor contractions so bad it was bringing tears to my eyes and they were a good 2-3 min apart.
We get to the hospital and all checked in they hook me up to the monitor and LO looks good but my contractions although strong were not regular like they like to see them... they did an internal to check (which BTW when my doctor checks me she has NEVER hurt me it has always just been pressure... this lady felt like she was digging for gold) I was about to break DH hand and climbing off the back of the bed!
But after all that I was still a 1, a soft one but my cervix is still long.
The on call doctor made me the decision to give me a shot to stop the contractions since they were not really doing anything good except putting me in pain and give my an Ambien and send me home to rest. This really kinda irritated me because at our last appointment with my doctor she told me if I were to go into labor she wouldn't stop it. I have an appt with her tomorrow and I will see what she says but... Needless to say we left the hospital and I was already passed out before we got home because of the Ambien.
DH was so cute the whole time, I woke him up and told him I think we need to go and he flew out of bed and started running around the house, I told him to calm down we have plenty of time and he needed to walk the dogs lol. He was great at the hospital especially during that AWEFUL internal! He was super nervous but I think last night was a good practice run for him!

I dont think they had it noted anywhere!
I have my appt with her tomorrow and will ask her then! Unless of coarse I go through this again tonight (which is what the nurse was making it sound like was gonna happen)
