I bought nursing bras (I don't plan on nursing) because I hated the maternity bras I tried on. I got them from Motherhood Maternity. I also bought sleep bras because they are suppose to reduce stretch marks.
I went to target this weekend to get new bras....the minute I put on a cotton nursing bra the angel's sang...my chest has not been this comfortable in a long time! I do plan on bf so I figured if its comfy, then I'll get it, and if I out grow it, so be it, I'll get another one. I got two, one at $17.99 & one at $12.99. I figured its reasonable enough that I'll get enough wear out of it & and if I have to toss it, then with the price I don't feel so guilty.

I'm just planning on getting a regular bra in a size that actually fits. I will probably run to target/kohls and see what they have on sale that's comfortable.
I agree with PP - maternity bras aren't any different than regular bras. Nursing bras are different though.
Sounds expensive and I never owned one before this one, but I bought a wonder bra from Victoria Secret. The only metal in the bra is in the underwire and the hooks in the back. It is the MOST comfortable bra I have ever had and it's amazing for support. I sleep in them and have never woken up uncomfortable or sore from them. It was like $40 a bra, but they are SO worth it to me.
Re: Bra Help!
Just so you know, a maternity bra is just a regular bra in a bigger size. It's a way for maternity co's to make extra money.
My advice is to just buy whatever bras you normally buy - just in a bigger size. You don't need a special kind.
