u/s @ 11 weeks transabdominal?

I have an u/s next Thurs and will be 11 weeks...just wondering which (transabdominal or transvaginal) to expect, most likely?

    At 10 weeks I had my first transabdominal.

    I think it will be transabdominal.  I had one at 8wks and that was transabdominal as well.

    I just had one at 11 wks 1 day and it was transvaginal. But I'm a "fluffy" girl so I don't know if that has anything to do with it!

    At my 11wk my dr tried TA but the images were so small so we did TV which gives a much better picture:) Its not uncomfortable at all so don't worry!

    Thanks everyone!  I had one at 8 weeks (TV), so I know it's not uncomfortable and not a big deal.  Was purely curious what to expect :)

    At 8w2d I had an internal, but just 2 weeks later at 10w4d it was abdominal. So much better and more relaxing! Be prepared for the baby to be moving all over the place too :)

    Also, make sure you drink lots of water beforehand! This increases your chances of them getting a good transabdominal picture (full bladder lifts up the uterus).  My first u/s at 6w6d was actually transabdominal with a very full bladder (tech called me an "overachiever," think I blushed).  Some of it does depend on how "fluffy" you are, too.  Anyway, not that t/v is bad, either...
